Leave your email address to receive announcements about DCSS 2027, including deadlines, the programme and proceedings.
No fixed schedule. Access presentations, explore research, and participate in discussions whenever it suits you.
The symposium remains available online for 30 days, giving participants time to explore presentations and engage with the research.
Ask questions and engage directly with presenters through asynchronous Q&A. Discussions remain open throughout the symposium period.
Active participation in eligible Q&A discussions can earn you Contribution Credits, which can be used toward eligible future ECTRP activities and benefits.
The symposium’s Best Paper will receive 50 Contribution Credits for future use within ECTRP.
Accepted papers will be published in the symposium proceedings. The proceedings are intended to carry an ISSN, and each published paper will receive a separate DOI, subject to successful registration and publication requirements.
Published papers will be available online through the ECTRP website. ECTRP intends to submit the proceedings and published papers for consideration by relevant scholarly indexing and discovery services. Indexing is subject to the requirements and decisions of each service.
Facility and systems design, redundancy, reliability engineering and day-to-day operational practice.
Energy and water efficiency, heat reuse, carbon accounting and sustainable operating models.
Cloud platform architecture and the infrastructure implications of AI and high-density computing.

LinkedInDCSS 2027 invites original research articles, technical papers, practice notes, case studies and reviews addressing the design, operation and evolution of data center systems. Submissions are assessed through double-blind peer review by the ECTRP reviewer community. Contributions from practitioners are explicitly encouraged: rigorous operational experience is treated as a legitimate form of knowledge alongside academic research.
Download the official submission template and prepare your manuscript according to the instructions provided.
ECTRP strongly recommends using the LaTeX template. If you are a new user for LaTeX, we suggest using PRISM.
